We rely completely on our system to make sure we get the money we deserve for the work we have done for people but the goal-posts keep changing! Can we be sure the system is always going to be up-to-date?
We work very closely with the relevant statutory bodies to make sure we are kept informed of up-coming changes well in advance of when they come into effect. This means that we are able to plan these changes into our normal development and release programme so it is one less thing for our customers to worry about. Our relationship with the powers that be is also normally two-way... we know what is and isn't going to work with our customers and believe it or not, that is often taken into account!
Are your products fully web based?
All our products are 100% web based... All you need to access them is a PC, laptop or 'web-book' that has one of the main web browsers installed, and an internet connection. (Plus the right log-in credentials of course!) No software is needed locally on each machine so our systems are low-cost to maintain and no other 'Client' software is needed to run them over the internet so they are very simple to get set up and low cost to run.
We're worried about the security of data on our machines, how would you help protect our data?
We don't hold any data on anyone's local PC or Laptop so no data is at risk! Our's is one of the most secure solutions around today - we use the same technology to access our systems as an internet bank or the Inland Revenue. All your data is held securely in one place so if someone's computer is stolen or goes missing, none of your valuable data is lost and nobody's personal details are compromised. We can even give you a secure 'key' to plug into your computers in order to activate log-in... before you can even enter your password. Your data is very secure in a CogniSoft system.
We don't work like them, we want to do things our own way... can your system adapt to the way we work?
First and foremost, our systems are designed to be a flexible tool to help the people who do the job, do it more easily and more effectively. We're not tied to one particular way of working and don't let statutory outputs dictate the way people use the system. Much of our system is user defined and the use of custom 'Business Logic' means we're confident that you can make your system work the way you want it to.
Our current system is OK at collecting data but getting information out is another story! Can we guarantee we'll get the reports we need with your system?
Being reliant on your software company to give you reports can be a bind, and can be expensive too.
