Our Experience
CogniSoft have been developing all our applications in core Microsoft technologies since 1998 when we made a decision to adopt a completely web based approach. This placed us ahead of all other companies in our space at the time and we maintain that forward thinking ethos and technological edge today.
The front end or presentation layer of our applications is made up of interactive .NET web pages and this layer is developed and maintained as a separate entity from the data and business logic in our systems.
In practical terms this means our developers can spend less time writing 'plumbing code' and more time refining business logic to produce systems that can handle complex process requirements and fit with the way you want to work.
Our Approach
Agility is key to ensuring our customers receive the developments they need in the timescales that will benefit their business.
Often, tailored functionality can be achieved within what we would call customisation thanks to the architecture of our systems. For example, the development of custom business rules gives our customers a huge amount of additional functionality and control in the way their application functions, and the way in which data quality can be managed at source.
Business rules are developed and delivered in very short timescales and are often the quickest way to meet objectives.
For requirements that can't be achieved within the scope of customisation, our use of the .NET framework enables our developers to work in a 'rapid applications development environment'.
The framework provides us with the security advancements, management tools, and updates needed to build, test, and deploy highly reliable and secure software, which crucially for our customers, results in a rapid response to their development request and deployment timescales.
