Tony Howarth, Director at CogniSoft and the longest serving current member of the business, will be leaving us later in the year. By that time, Tony will have worked for the business for 32 years in a technical capacity, working his way up from a trainee programmer to Technical Director in 2000.
It is no exaggeration to say that Tony has been a pioneer, taking CogniSoft through a variety of technological advancements from DOS to Windows in 1996 and creating the first truly web-based solution on the market in 2000. Tony’s expertise in web security has helped us to gain and retain ISO27001 & Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation for over a decade.
32 years with one business is a major achievement by any measure but this is especially remarkable in the software world, where change happens second by second.
Tony has already started part-time in his new role of Chief Architect at an online gaming and sports betting software business but will be carrying out an extended handover period due to complete towards the end of the year.
It is hard to put into words the gratitude we have for all Tony has done for CogniSoft and we hope you will join us in wishing him every success and fulfilment in his new role.
